NVRT Labs Visits TSTC Waco

We were generously invited by David Sanchez, Statewide Department Chair for the Biomedical Equipment Technology programs. His invitation reflects the mutual dedication of both NVRT Labs and TSTC to the advancement of education and the nurturing of future professionals. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside TSTC in this endeavor.

Texas State Technical College boasts one of the best and biggest Biomedical Equipment Technician programs in the country. This esteemed reputation underscores the significance of our collaboration. With this in mind, we recently organized a free live educational demonstration for Biomed students and faculty on Virtual Reality training for medical device repair.

During the demonstration, students were invited to participate, experience, and provide feedback on curriculum-enhancing VR offerings relevant to their chosen career field. This hands-on experience not only enriches their educational journey but also equips them with practical skills that will be invaluable in their future professions.

In addition to the live demonstration, we conducted an enlightening focus group session. First and second-year students had the opportunity to gain valuable professional insights from NVRT's industry expertise. Our team shared their knowledge, experiences, and industry know-how, giving students a glimpse into the real-world applications of their education. These sessions fostered an environment of mutual learning and growth, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
